Punarvasu, crossing from Gemini into Cancer, contains the twin stars Castor and Pollux. Its name means the return of the light, and its deity Aditi is the vast, forgiving mother. After the storm of Ardra, Punarvasu is the sky clearing and the arrow returning to the quiver.
The Moon here gives resilience, optimism and a generous, uncomplicated heart. People with this placement can lose things and rebuild, move house and make a new home quickly, and they tend to trust that things will come round again. Jupiter as lord adds wisdom, faith and a teaching streak.
Punarvasu asks for contentment rather than accumulation. Its simplicity is its strength: it needs little to feel at home.
