In one sentence

The birth details you type are calculated on your own device and are never sent, stored or logged anywhere.

What Kapparo itself does and does not do

• Kapparo sets no cookies or local storage of its own, uses no analytics and does not track visitors.
• There are no accounts, contact forms or payments in the app.
• We load no fonts, maps or scripts from third parties to run the app. Place search uses data bundled inside the app itself. Advertising is the exception, described below.

What data is received

Like any website, the hosting provider (Cloudflare) may briefly record your IP address and browser type in server logs for security and operation. How long they are kept is set by the provider. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Advertising

Kapparo is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show and measure ads and, if you consent, personalised ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we show ads only after you give consent through a consent message, and you can change your choice at any time.

How Google uses data from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can manage or turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.

We may also show directly agreed sponsorships: plain images served from our own site, with no cookies and no tracking. If you open an ad, you go to the advertiser's website, which is covered by its own privacy policy.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, correction, erasure and objection, and the right to complain to your data protection authority. Contact: hello@kapparo.com.
