Ardra, in Gemini, is the bright star Betelgeuse in Orion’s shoulder. Its deity Rudra is the howling storm that destroys and then clears the air, and its symbol is a teardrop: Ardra is about the pain that comes before renewal.
The Moon in Ardra gives a powerful, questioning intellect and deep feelings that can arrive like weather. These people often go through upheavals that change their direction, and they come out sharper and more honest. Rahu as lord adds intensity, a hunger for knowledge and comfort with technology and research.
Ardra’s lesson is that emotional storms are not failures. Allowed to pass, they leave the ground fresh; held in, they turn into resentment.
