Uttara Ashadha, crossing from Sagittarius into Capricorn, is the later, lasting victory. Its deities are the ten universal gods who represent virtues such as truth, will and steadfastness. Where Purva Ashadha wins quickly, Uttara Ashadha wins for good, through principle and patience.
The Moon here gives integrity, responsibility and a calm, reliable kind of leadership. These people are often respected for their fairness, take on long projects and see them through, and do not seek success at any price.
With the Sun as lord, Uttara Ashadha has a strong sense of duty and purpose. Its lesson is to allow itself rest and pleasure along the way, rather than postponing life until the work is finished.
