Bharani is the nakshatra of carrying and bearing: the womb that holds new life and the duty that holds a person to account. Its deity Yama governs both death and moral law, so Bharani is about the full cycle of birth, restraint and transformation rather than easy pleasure.
The Moon here gives strong appetites and strong discipline side by side. People with this placement can endure a great deal, take on heavy responsibilities and stay loyal to their own sense of right. Venus as lord adds creativity, sensuality and a frank attitude to the body.
Bharani asks for moderation. Its intensity is a gift when it is used to create and protect, and a burden when it turns into judgment of oneself or others.
